Cahill set to miss rest of season
Everton midfield man Tim Cahill looks certain to miss the rest of the season after breaking a metatarsal bone in the draw at Sheffield United.
The Australian midfielder was carried off in the first half at Bramall Lane.
Everton boss David Moyes said: "It's a real big blow for us, because we have only had him back for four weeks after a serious knee injury.
"He is so important to what we do because he gives us the physical side of his game and also gets goal."
Cahill had an X-ray immediately at Bramall Lane, which confirmed the extent of the injury.
