Everton suffer McFadden setback
Everton have suffered another injury setback after striker James McFadden broke his foot in a freak accident.
The 23-year-old Scotland international broke his fifth metatarsal while playing head tennis in training.
McFadden left Everton's Bellefield training headquarters on crutches and faces a lengthy spell out of action.
Boss David Moyes may now seek attacking re-inforcements after Andy Johnson was ruled out for several weeks with an ankle injury sustained at Wigan.
McFadden is suspended for Scotland's next Euro 2008 qualifying match against Georgia at Hampden on 24 March, but there is a game in Italy four days later.
McFadden has scored 10 international goals in his 31 appearances for Scotland.
