Dunfermline have signed goalkeeper Greg Fleming on a one-year loan deal from Oldham Athletic.
The Edinburgh-born former Gretna and Livingston keeper signed for the English League One side in May 2008.
Fleming, 22, agreed a three-year deal with the Boundary Park outfit when he left Gretna but has agreed a move back to Scotland ahead of the new season.
The keeper was released along with the rest of the Gretna squad after the now defunct club entered administration.
Meanwhile, Dunfermline have given a trial to former St Mirren midfielder Ben Carson.
The 19-year-old was released by the Scottish Premier League club at the end of last season.
However, manager Jim McIntyre stressed that because the Pars were "top heavy" in midfield, Carson would "have to be better than what we have got".
