Phinn pledges his future to Pars

Nicky Phinn Dunfermline Athletic midfielder Nicky Phinn has signed a new two-year contract with the East End Park club.

The 18-year-old has been a full-time player since the summer of 2004 and became a first team squad regular under manager Jim Leishman last season.

Phinn has progressed through the ranks since signing from Hearts Boys Club.

He became the youngest-ever player to start a Scottish Premier League game for the Pars when he appeared against Falkirk in April 2006.
