Dundee United's Craig Levein says there will be no need for a motivational team talk as his players return to action after the death of Eddie Thompson.
Last week's match against Rangers was postponed after the passing of the chairman, who was buried on Wednesday.
"The lads won't need any motivation ahead of the game," said the United manager ahead of St Mirren's visit.
"They are itching to play as it's nearly three weeks since the last game, so they're desperate to get going."
United have slashed admission prices to only £5 in order to encourage a big crowd for Saturday's Scottish Premier League game.
The Tayside public are expected to respond to the Thompson family's gesture, with an attendance of around 10,000 anticipated.
United have reminded fans to turn up early this weekend because of the large crowd expected for a game that will be preceded by a minute's silence.
"I like Stevie Robb a lot. He's a great wee player and I'm delighted to see him doing well"Levein is expecting an emotional atmosphere but thinks it will not adversely affect his players.
"They have been good in training and, as I said before, having time on the training pitch was good for everyone because it gave us something to focus on," he said.
"Footballers play football, it's what they love doing.
"The lads have been so professional this week, they have gone about their business in exactly the right way and now it will be great for everyone associated with the club if we can get a win."
Winger Stevie Robb, who spent two injury-hit years at Tannadice, has been in excellent form for St Mirren since his switch from United.
"I like Stevie Robb a lot. He's a great wee player and I'm delighted to see him doing well," he said.
"I didn't want to lose him, but I think it was in his best interests to move on.
"Injuries had been a problem when he was up the road at Dundee and also when he moved here, so a change of scenery was what he needed.
"Going away to somewhere fresh and a new environment has helped him a lot.
"He's definitely added a bit of quality to St Mirren's team. He's a skilful player and one definitely capable of hurting us if we're not careful."
