Doncaster's Green set for Derby
Doncaster Rovers midfielder Paul Green has agreed to join Derby on a three-year contract when his contract expires on 1 July.
The 25-year-old is the only survivor of the team that won promotion from the Conference in 2003.
Rovers chief executive Dave Morris said: "We're disappointed. We offered a much-improved contract, as high as anybody in the club, and a testimonial.
"But it's a division where money talks and Paul's taken the money."
He continued: "We did the best we could. Presumably he felt their offer was more attractive."

"Paul's been a great servant and we were beginning to see him evolve as a player. That's why it hurts so much"

Green, who played in both legs of the play-off semi-finals against Southend and the win over Leeds at Wembley which took them to the Championship, said: "I enjoyed fantastic times at Doncaster.
"However, this a new chapter for me and something that I felt I had to do."
Rams boss Paul Jewell told his club's website: "Paul is an energetic, tenacious midfielder with an eye for goal and is in the prime of his career.
"He's been a pivotal part of Doncaster's success as they've risen through the leagues.
"He is just the type of character I want in my dressing room and I'm delighted to have secured his signature."
