Earnshaw poised for Forest talks
Derby striker Rob Earnshaw is to hold talks with Nottingham Forest over a possible £2.5m move to the City Ground.
Earnshaw, 27, has been allowed to leave the Rams following their relegation from the Premier League.
"We have agreed a fee with Nottingham Forest for £2.5m and Rob Earnshaw is speaking to them," Rams boss Paul Jewell told BBC Radio Derby.
Forest could face competition from Sheffield United, who are are also keen on the Welsh international.
Earnshaw was signed by ex-Rams boss Billy Davies last summer in a £3.6m deal but he failed to hold down a first-team spot under both Jewell and Davies.

"Probably now guaranteed to score against us next season and fire Forest up the league. Shocking!!!!"

Jewell added: "I think it's a fair price. It's a loss of £1.1m over a year but as I've said, I want to change things around quite drastically and everyone has a price."
It is thought that the former Cardiff striker is about to go on holiday so talks will be put on hold for a few days.
Forest manager Colin Calderwood told BBC Radio Nottingham: "I won't say anything about any other player at any other club. I don't think it's appropriate to comment."
Earnshaw made just seven starts in a dismal Premier League campaign for Derby, scoring once in the 6-2 defeat by Arsenal.
