Rams recruit Robert raring to go
Derby County new boy Laurent Robert says he is relishing the chance to return to the Premier League and prove that he still has plenty to offer.
The 32-year-old left winger, who joins after an unhappy stay with Levante in Spain, had four years at Newcastle and also had a brief spell with Portsmouth.
The Frenchman told BBC Radio Derby: "Spain was a very bad experience.
"But now that is finished I am here to play every game, to work hard to prove again that Mr Robert has come back."
"I'm ready, my head is ready, my left foot is ready to score some goals - I am ready.
"I like this football and the atmosphere in England is the best in the world."
"I know the situation is a little bit difficult but we finish in May and we have the time"

And he says he was not put off by Derby's precarious league position: "I know the situation is a little bit difficult," Robert said.
"But we finish in May and we have the time to take some points and stay in the Premier League.
"We have a good group and good players. I've come here to give me experience and to work hard.
"This moment is difficult but if you work hard and take some points then you have hope and I hope we stay in the Premier League."
