Warnock hands Demontagnac trial
Crystal Palace manager Neil Warnock has handed a trial to former Walsall bad boy Ishmel Demontagnac.
The 20-year-old winger was sacked by the Saddlers last week after a number of breaches of club discipline.
Palace assistant Mick Jones told the South London Press: "If anything happens during the trial that we don't like it will be finished immediately."
He saw red in his last game against Scunthorpe, before being arrested that weekend for a breach of the peace.
The mercurial Londoner scored a hat-trick for Walsall against Southend in August and only started one game since.
The former Charlton trainee scored 10 goals in 98 games for the Saddlers.
