Holland thrilled with clean sheet

Crewe boss Steve Holland praised his defence after they kept only their second clean sheet of the season in the 0-0 draw at Bristol Rovers.

He told BBC Radio Stoke: "I'm really pleased with the players because the Liverpool game took a lot out of them.

"I knew the second half of this game would be difficult because of the effort they put in on Tuesday night.

"To come away with our first away points of the season and a clean sheet is terrific, and we deserved it."
