Crawley's appeal dismissed by FA
Crawley have lost their appeal against a six-point penalty imposed by the Conference, reports BBC SCR.
Crawley appealed to the FA in a bid to overturn the punishment handed out by the league in the summer for a breach of financial regulations.
The Reds now officially drop from eighth in the Blue Square Premier table on 24 points to 16th place.
Meanwhile the win over Histon was seen by Steve Coppell, with the Reading boss believed to be watching Jamie Stevens.
Boss Steve Evans said: "For someone who has just turned 18, you can see why the likes of Steve Coppell are here."
