Coventry City have completed the free signing of former Liverpool and Sunderland defender Stephen Wright.
The 28-year-old, who was released by Sunderland at the end of last season, has signed a two-year-deal after spending pre-season with the Sky Blues.
"Stephen is a quality full-back and plays in a position that we needed to fill," City manager Chris Coleman told the club's website.
"His experience will help some of our younger players and he is a great lad."
Wright began his career with Liverpool where he signed professional terms after working his way through the youth system. Whilst with Liverpool, he enjoyed two loan spells with Crewe Alexandra where he experienced first-team football.
After failing to make a big enough impression at Anfield, he was sold to Sunderland in 2000, where he went on to establish himself in the first team.

Wright impressed whilst on loan in the Championship and helped Stoke climb the league before being recalled by Sunderland manager Roy Keane in January 2008 to provide cover for the first team. However, he failed to break into the first team and was released.
The right-back is pleased to have finally signed for the Sky Blues.
"It seems like it's been quite a while coming but it's great to get things sorted and I can't wait to get going now.
"I've really enjoyed my time with the club so far. There's a great bunch of lads here and we've got a top manager as well.
"Training has been really good, we're looking sharp and we can't wait to kick the season off against Norwich on Saturday."
Wright is the second free-transfer Coventry have made in two days after Republic of Ireland international striker Clinton Morrison joined on Thursday.
