Coventry complete Bunce signing
Coventry City have completed the signing of New Zealand international defender Che Bunce, who had also been on trial at Dundee United.
United manager Craig Levein had fielded Bunce in a reserve game against Rangers on Tuesday - but said he could not match the terms Coventry were offering.
Bunce, 31, has signed a deal at Coventry until the end of the season.
"He has a mountain of experience and a real presence in defence," caretaker boss Adrian Heath told City's website.
Having missed out on Bunce, who was most recently with New Zealand Knights, Levein added: "They've offered him about three times what we could come up with.
"Someone recommended him to them and there is not much we could do about that."
