Draw dampens Yeates' celebrations
Colchester United striker Mark Yeates was disappointed with their draw with Oldham, despite scoring the first league goals at the Community Stadium.
The 23-year-old put the U's into a two-goal lead, before Oldham levelled late on for a share of the points.
The Dubliner told BBC Essex: "It's a nice little thing for myself, but we were just after getting a good result.
"I think we deserved the three points, but again it's two sloppy goals we've given away."
He added: "We've looked strong and solid in the league, but with the group we have we need to be looking to push on.
"It's nice to get back amongst the goals and gradually I'm getting fitter.
"I don't think people realise it's been quite a while since I played a lot of competitive games on the bounce, so I'm getting myself back in there.
"But we're kicking ourselves because that's two points dropped."
