Lester dismisses transfer rumours
Chesterfield's Jack Lester has dismissed suggestions that he has handed in a transfer request.
There had been speculation that the 32-year-old striker had fallen out with manager Lee Richardson.
But Lester told BBC Radio Sheffield: "Nothing has happened like that, the rumours are a bit silly.
"If I did want to leave I would say. I've never handed in a transfer request in my career, so if anything changed I would come out and say that."
Lester was the Spireites leading scorer last season but has only managed to play six games so far this season due to injury.
"I've missed games due to injury, nothing else, obviously someone is trying to unsettle me or the club."
