Chester complete Mozika signing
Chester City have completed the signing of unattached French midfielder Damien Mozika on a two-year contract, with the option for a third year.
The 22-year-old impressed City manager Simon Davies during a recent two-week trial at the Deva Stadium.
Chester owner Stephen Vaughan told BBC Radio Merseyside: "This is a big signing for Chester City. Damien has been with a top club in France."
French player Mozika was a free agent following his release by AS Nancy.
Meanwhile, City have placed midfielders Paul Rutherford and Mark Hughes and striker Chris Holroyd on the transfer list in an attempt to reduce the size of their squad.
Rutherford, 21, is currently on trial at AFC Bournemouth, 24-year-old Hughes has been linked with Wrexham and 21-year-old Holroyd has turned down a move to Cambridge United.
