Benjamin handed trial at Chester
Chester City are giving a trial to journeyman striker Trevor Benjamin.
The 29-year-old former Jamaican international is a free agent after being released by Hereford United at the end of last season.
Benjamin has had 16 clubs in a 13-year professional career with the highlight a spell in the top flight at Leicester.
He scored 11 goals in 43 appearances for Hereford last season and is in the Chester squad to face Vauxhall Motors in a friendly at the weekend.
Meanwhile, goalkeeper Chris Sanna has had his trial period at the Deva Stadium extended.
He is now in line to feature in City's friendlies with Motors and Carlisle.
