Chester chairman given FA fine
Chester chairman Stephen Vaughan has been fined £1000 after being found guilty of violent conduct following the loss at Shrewsbury on 25 November.
After both sets of players had to be separated at the final whistle there were reports of further trouble in the tunnel at Gay Meadow.
He denied the charge of violent conduct but the Football Association upheld it and fined him.
Vaughan was severely censured and was warned about his future conduct.
Meanwhile, businessman Paul Baker has stood down as a director on the club board.
