Downing earns Robins post
Cheltenham Town have appointed former Wolves reserves coach Keith Downing as their assistant manager.
He joined Wolves' staff as academy coach in March 1999 but will now team up with Cheltenham boss John Ward.
Downing said: "It was a difficult decision as I've spent most of my playing and coaching career with Wolves and have great affection for the club.
"But the Cheltenham job is a more senior and diverse role and will give me a chance to develop my career."
