Sidwell agrees switch to Chelsea
Reading midfielder Steve Sidwell has agreed to join Chelsea on a free transfer after his Royals contract expires on 1 July.
As well as Chelsea, the 24-year-old Sidwell had also been linked with moves to Manchester United or Newcastle.
Sidwell will be Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho's first signing of the summer.
Sidwell, who reportedly rejected an offer of a new four-year deal worth £25,000 a week, has been a key player for the Royals this season.
