Terry poised for midweek comeback

John Terry Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho expects captain John Terry to be fit for Wednesday's Premiership match at Manchester City.

Terry has not played since suffering a head injury in the Carling Cup final victory over Arsenal last month.

"He is training normally but there are protection rules about head injuries and the medical people say 'not yet'," Mourinho told BBC Sport.

"He should be back on Wednesday against Man City."

The England skipper has missed the wins against Portsmouth and Porto and was not risked for Sunday's FA Cup quarter-final clash with Tottenham at Stamford Bridge.
