Brown voted player of the month
Celtic midfielder Scott Brown has been voted Clydesdale Bank Premier League player of the month for October.
Brown, 23 joined Celtic from Hibernian last May for a record fee between two Scottish clubs in the region of £4.4m.
"I don't think it's just to do with me, but all 11 players who go on the park too," said Brown.
"I think I've been getting forward in the last few games and hitting the target, and that's always what I've been wanting to do."
Brown scored twice during October as Celtic continued their winning streak in the SPL, including a late strike against his former side.
His goal the previous week was his first in the SPL since December.
The midfielder has also featured regularly in the Scotland squad and has gained 13 full caps.
