Norwich win loan race for Kennedy
Celtic defender John Kennedy has agreed to join Norwich on loan until January.
The 24-year-old had been at Motherwell's training camp in Austria, but the Fir Park club could not match Celtic's financial demands.
Preston were also interested in taking the centre-half but Kennedy has agreed a move to the Canaries.
"I'm looking forward to the challenge and lining up with a couple of familiar faces in David Marshall and Mark Fotheringham," said Kennedy.
"I would like to thank Motherwell and Preston and their managers, Mark McGhee and Alan Irvine, who have shown interest in me."
MY SPORT: DEBATE
Will the move to Carrow Road be a good one for Kennedy?
A serious knee injury sustained with Scotland in 2004 kept Kennedy out of the game for nearly three years.
And he has recently returned to full fitness after damaging his knee again against Shakhtar Donetsk in November.
