Balde ready for switch to Bolton
Celtic defender Bobo Balde has confirmed he is keen on a move to Bolton after the clubs opened talks on a possible January transfer.
The 32-year-old, who will feature at the African Nations Cup with Guinea, told the Sun: "I want my future to be resolved in the next few days.
"If the clubs reach an agreement I will go to Bolton. Celtic know my position and I'm only waiting for news."
Bolton boss Gary Megson revealed his interest in the player on Wednesday.
He told the Bolton News: "We've been talking to Celtic about trying to come up with a fee where we can talk to Bobo but we're not there yet."
Balde, who turned down a move to Sunderland at the start of the season, is contracted to the Scottish champions until 2009.
He returned after a year on the sidelines to star in the 2-0 Boxing Day win over Dundee United at Tannadice.
And Balde kept his place for the following 3-0 victory over Gretna at Celtic Park.
Prior to the central defender's recall, Celtic had failed to keep a clean-sheet in 34 away games and had only taken six points from their previous five SPL games.
