Trio could soon make Celtic exit

Kenny Miller Celtic have made Kenny Miller, Maciej Zurawski and Thomas Gravesen available for transfer, BBC Sport understands.

Miller, 27, has struggled to find the net consistently since joining the SPL champions from Wolves last July.

But Celtic have strongly denied that he, striker Zurawski, or midfielder Gravesen are being forced out.

A club statement said: "Contrary to ill-informed reports from some media outlets, Celtic Football Club has not placed anyone on the transfer list."

English Premier League clubs Fulham, Everton, Manchester City and Derby have been linked with a move for Miller before the transfer window closes on Friday.

But Miller's agent, David Baldwin, played down reports that a move for the Scotland striker is imminent.

"Celtic knocked back an approach for Kenny from Newcastle in January"

"He is under contract for three more years and only the club can do anything about that," he told BBC Sport.

"I speak to clubs all the time and, naturally, his name is going to come up in conversations and it is a testament to his ability that top clubs ask questions about his situation.

"But I speak to Celtic chief executive Peter Lawwell on a regular basis and they knocked back an approach for Kenny from Newcastle in January."

Miller is sidelined with a hamstring injury that ruled him out of Saturday's 5-0 victory over Hearts and he will also miss the second leg of the Champions League qualifier against Spartak Moscow.

But the former Rangers star has scored eight competitive goals in 23 appearances for Gordon Strachan's side.

Zurawski joined Celtic from Wisla Krakow for £2m in 2005 and made a promising start, netting 22 goals in his first full season.

However, a hamstring injury ruled the Polish international out for parts of last season, as he netted 10 goals from 34 appearances.

Gravesen has failed to establish himself in Strachan's plans since his £2m switch from Real Madrid last summer and was left out of the squad to face Hearts at the weekend.

The Dane was involved in Monday's 2-0 victory by Celtic's reserves over Hearts.

Scotland forward Derek Riordan, whose own future at the club has been in doubt, scored twice for Gordon Strachan's second string.

The side also contained central defender Bobo Balde, who has also been linked with a move away from Celtic Park.
