Celtic midfielder Shunsuke Nakamura's agent has denied reports the Japanese international wants to leave the club.
Nakamura's Italian representative Angelo Massoni said on Tuesday four clubs were set to make offers - and hinted at a get-out contract clause.
But Celtic and his agent Roberto Takuda have denied this is the case.
"I would like to stress that these reports about Naka are complete nonsense. He and his family are very happy at Celtic," said Takuda.
The 28-year-old, who was named SPFA player of the year last season, has insisted he is happy at Celtic Park.
"Naka and his family are very happy at Celtic and very happy in Glasgow "
Angelo Massoni said on Tuesday: "We have four of the biggest clubs in world football interested in Nakamura, and they are willing to pay big money."
Massoni said four clubs were interested in signing Nakamura, adding: "We will recommend these offers to Celtic. If Celtic want to make a better offer, that's up to the club."
Nakamura, who helped Celtic to a league and cup double last season, is contracted to the club until 2009.
He said in April he was content in Glasgow and was looking forward to starring for the club in the Champions League next season.
Massoni said he had held talks with Takuda about the Japanese international's future.
"We want to meet with Celtic next week," said Massoni.
"We cannot name the clubs interested from the other countries until we have informed the club first."
However, a Celtic spokesperson told BBC Sport: "Nakamura has a contract with Celtic until next year and an option for a further year.
"We have been given no indication he wants to leave the club."
The club also dismissed reports Nakamura had a get-out clause in his contract which would allow him to leave for £1m.
"Celtic can state categorically that there is absolutely no 'get-out clause' in Shunsuke Nakamura's contract," the spokesperson said.
Takuda also distanced himself from reports Nakamura wanted to leave the club.
"I would like to stress that these reports about Naka are complete nonsense," said Takuda.
"Naka is currently preparing for the Asian Cup but straight after this, is very much looking forward to returning to Celtic.
"He and his family are very happy at Celtic and very happy in Glasgow. He has no reason to go anywhere else."
