Krul joins Carlisle for a month
Carlisle have signed Newcastle United's Dutch goalkeeper Tim Krul on a one-month loan deal.
The Cumbrians had Spurs goalkeeper Ben Alnwick recalled on Thursday and see Krul as ideal competition for summer signing Ben Williams.
Krul, 20, is a reserve-team regular but his one first-team appearance came in a Uefa Cup tie against Palermo in 2006.
He was a member of the Netherlands side that won the 2007 Under-21 European Championships on home soil.
He spent most of last season with Scottish Premier League side Falkirk, where he played 22 games before a shoulder injury ended his season.
