U's boss is pushing Seattle links

Cambridge United Cambridge United boss Jimmy Quinn hopes to build links with American side Seattle Sounders - with the possibility of Seattle players joining the U's.

Quinn has just returned from visiting United States-based Cambridge directors Paul Barry and Adrian Hanauer.

He also hinted that he hopes to bring Seattle's French forward Sebastian Le Toux, 22, over for a trial.

"He would be more than welcome to come and train with us when their season is over," Quinn told Cambridge's website.

"We'd probably arrange a trial match against decent opposition to take a good look at him.

"I'm going to help (Seattle coach) Brian Schmetzer out with some coaching materials.

"When their season is over, Brian will come to visit at some stage, and I can arrange for him to visit some League clubs."
