Burton dedicate victory to Clough
Burton Albion's new manager Roy McFarland says his side's 3-0 FA Trophy win against Salisbury on Saturday was for former boss Nigel Clough.
McFarland told BBC Radio Derby: "I think the players have been very emotional this week.
"It was lovely to see the passion that the players felt for him - they've got it out their system now and that was a special thank you to Nigel."
The 60-year-old took over from the newly appointed Derby boss on Tuesday.
Clough left the Brewers after 10 years at the helm to take up the vacant manager's post at the Rams.
McFarland added: "Now we'll move on to the next phase and obviously the league at Grays [Athletic] on Saturday."
Burton are currently 13 points clear of Histon at the top of the Blue Square Premier.
