Clough happy with steady summer

Nigel Clough

Burton Albion boss Nigel Clough has told BBC Radio Derby he still hopes to add two or three players to his squad.

The players returned to pre-season training on Monday, with former Derby County striker Lee Morris and ex-Bury frontman Jon Newby on trial.

Clough has signed one player so far - striker Jody Banim - but he is happy with his summer transfer activity.

"We are most excited by the fact 15 of our lads re-signed and hopefully we can add two or three to that," he said.

"We are looking at strikers, that is the main position but we are very pleased with the shape of the squad."
