Defender Johnson joins Brentford
Brentford have signed defender Brett Johnson on a one-year contract.
Johnson left Northampton Town at the end of last season and has featured in four pre-season friendlies for the Bees.
He was signed by Northampton on a free transfer from Aldershot in 2005 and made 14 league starts during his time with the Cobblers.
Johnson, who turns 23 next week, has also had spells on loan at Ebbsfleet and Grays Athletic.
