Cherries step up chairman search
Bournemouth co-owner Paul Baker insists the vacant chairmanship at the League Two club is "not for sale".
Previous incumbent Jeff Mostyn stepped down this week, after two years in the post at Dean Court.
Former club director John Piper has been linked with the vacant post, along with ex-chairman Abdul Jaffer.
"Although we are continuing our search for investment, the chairman's position is definitely not for sale," Baker told BBC Radio Solent.
"We haven't held discussions with anyone yet. The new chairman will be part of the restructuring of the board here."
Baker himself has been linked with the post but said: "I would be very honoured to take the position, but being based in the north-west, I think a local person may be more suited to it."
