Davies signs new Bolton contract
Bolton striker Kevin Davies has signed a new three-and-a-half year contract to stay at the Reebok Stadium until 2010.
The 29-year-old striker, who joined on a free transfer from Southampton in 2003, was out of contract at the end of the season.
"I'm delighted everything is sorted now," he told the club website after signing the contract.
"The future is very promising for this football club and I'm happy that I can be part of it."
Manager Sam Allardyce was equally happy at Davies' future finally being clarified.
"Kevin is crucial to the ongoing success we have at this football club and I'm thrilled that he has committed his future to us," he said.
