Blackpool sign O'Donovan on loan

Roy O'Donovan

Sunderland striker Roy O'Donovan has become Blackpool's third loan-signing of the January transfer window.

The Republic of Ireland 'B' international has signed on for the remainder of the season.

O'Donovan joined Sunderland from Eircom League side Cork City in August 2007, before moving to Dundee United on loan.

The 23-year-old, along with other signings DJ Campbell and Graeme Owens, goes straight into the squad for Saturday's game against Birmingham.
