Blackpool await McPhee decision
Blackpool hope striker Stephen McPhee will escape a domestic three-match ban following his dismissal during the club's pre-season tour of Latvia.
The 27-year-old was sent off by referee Aleksandrs Golubevs for violent conduct during the 4-0 defeat by Skonto Riga.
"It's quite frustrating," said Blackpool manager Simon Grayson.
"The referee could have decided to have give a yellow card, but instead decided to send him off. We don't want that to count to any official ban."
Golubevs is still to decide whether to include the incident in his match report which could eventually lead to the Football Association taking action.
