Bentley unclear over new contract
Blackburn midfielder David Bentley has admitted talks over his new contract are some way off being concluded.
The 23-year-old told BBC Radio Lancashire that it would be difficult for him to leave Rovers but he may have to consider his options.
"It's been going on for a few months. I'm not sure what's happening, it would be the hardest decision if I left but hopefully I'll sign," said Bentley.
The England international is contracted to Rovers until 2011.
Talks have been ongoing to improve his terms since Bentley won his first cap for his country.

"Bentley has been our best player over the last two years and will most likely be for the next few years"

"My agent is sorting it all out, I don't really look to get involved," he added.
"I know something is getting sorted out but we'll just have to see where it goes from there."
The winger admits committing himself to Rovers long-term will be a big decision.
"You have to get these things right. You never can rush into anything, especially long-term contracts, so we'll just have to see what happens."
The midfielder's career has taken off since leaving Arsenal for Blackburn, initially on-loan, in the summer of 2005 and he admits leaving Ewood Park would be a big wrench.
"I love this club, I love everyone that works here, the staff, the players and the management. I love coming to work every day but football is football and you never know what's around the corner," he stated.
