Forssell set for £1m Hanover move
Birmingham striker Mikael Forssell is poised to make a £1m switch to German side Hanover.
The Finland international could move when the transfer window reopens on 1 June, subject to concluding any contractual issues with Blues.
The ex-Chelsea forward has been dogged by recent knee problems and unable to hold a regular first-team spot.
But he said: "I want to be playing football and I think that going to Hanover is certainly a possibility."
Forssell scored 19 goals in his first season at St Andrews in 2003-04 when on loan from Stamford Bridge.
He was available for selection this season but has slowly slipped down the City pecking order behind Nicklas Bendtner, Cameron Jerome, DJ Campbell and most recently Andy Cole.
