Bruce fined for improper conduct

Birmingham boss Steve Bruce Birmingham boss Steve Bruce has been fined £1,500 after being found guilty of improper conduct towards doping control officials.

The Football Association Disciplinary Commission also warned Bruce about his future conduct.

The incident occurred at the end of the game at Plymouth on 4 November.

It is thought Bruce was unhappy that doping control officers walked on to the pitch to escort off one of his players to be tested.

Players scheduled to undergo doping tests are not supposed to have their indentities revealed.

However, there is no suggestion Bruce was trying to prevent officers carrying out the tests.
