Brodie debut impresses Sheridan
Barrow joint-boss Darren Sheridan believes on-loan striker Richard Brodie will have a big impact at the club.
The England C international, who joined from York City last week, scored twice on his Bluebirds debut in the 4-0 FA Cup win at Tamworth on Saturday.
"He did well and he gives us more options for the team," Sheridan told BBC Radio Cumbria.
"It was a great debut from him and we know there is still more to come in the next few games."
Brodie, 21, hit 10 goals for York last season, after joining from Newcastle Benfield in January 2007.
And the Bluebirds have revealed to BBC Radio Cumbria that Brodie is on their list of transfer targets when the January window opens.
"It will be tough but it gives us a chance of progressing in the competition"

The club are hopeful of tying-up a permanent deal for the player if his loan stay proves a success.
But Brodie would not be drawn on the possibility of a permanent switch to Holker Street.
"At the moment I am looking forward to playing as many games as I can for Barrow," he said.
"I'm here for a month and then we'll take it from there."
Barrow host Forest Green in the Blue Square Premier on Saturday as they look for a third consecutive win in all competitions.
And Sheridan added: "We're expecting a tough game down there to be honest.
"They're in a similar position as us in terms of their league position but we have got a lot of confidence after the win on Saturday."

"What do you think of Barrow's FA Cup draw?"
Sheridan also believes the club's FA Cup first-round draw at Eastbourne Borough presents a good opportunity for the club to progress in the competition this season.
"It's a game we're capable of winning, we played Eastbourne and beat them 3-1 at Holker Street a couple of weeks ago," he said.
"It will be tough but it gives us a chance of progressing in the competition."
