Aldershot Town's caretaker manager Jason Dodd will leave the club to take up a new role at Southampton's academy.
Dodd was put in temporary charge at the Recreation Ground in October after former boss Gary Waddock moved to Wycombe Wanderers.
Acting chairman John Leppard told the club's website: "Jason will be taking charge for Saturday's FA Cup tie [against Bury] before he leaves."
Dodd has won just one point in three league matches with the Shots.
The former Southampton player's reign has so far produced a 0-0 draw at Rotherham, and league defeats to Shrewsbury and Bury.
"We are hoping to be in position to name the new permanent manager of Aldershot during the course of the next few days," Leppard said.
Dodd played more than 400 games for Southampton over a 16-year spell at the club.
His new role as development coach will begin on Monday, 9 November.
