Dempsey mulls over Yeovil offer
English League One side Yeovil Town have made a bid to sign Aberdeen midfielder Gary Dempsey.
Dempsey, whose contract expires at the end of the season, has been offered a two-year deal.
Dons manager Jimmy Calderwood wants to keep the Irishman, but needs to find out his budget before making an offer.
"Yeovil have come forward with a good offer and, as things stand, it is the only option I have," Dempsey told the Press and Journal.
Dempsey said he had spoken to Calderwood about his contract and would hold further talks with the club.

"I've been told Aberdeen want to keep me, but things can change from week to week and month to month," Dempsey added.
"Yeovil have not set a deadline, but I want everything settled in the next week to 10 days so I have security for next season."
Calderwood said: "Gary has received the offer from Yeovil and I need to talk to him to see what we are going to do.
"There will be an offer from Aberdeen eventually, but I don't know if that is good enough for Gary."
