2158: Many thanks for clicking, reading and listening. Highlights of the match will be live on the BBC Sport site in 122 minutes' time. Now, we'd better get editing some video... Hope you can join us again at the weekend. Good night.
2153: At full-time, you voted Allan Russell as the man of the match with a player rating of 7.75. Manuel Pascali ran him close, though. Remember you can still vote for your man of the match. Rate the players
2150: Gordon in Glasgow is unhappy at the Sportsound analysis on Radio Scotland. He texted 80295 with the message: "The problems at killie are far deeper than 11 players. i am a fan of the chairman but your analysis shows little knowlege of my club."
2146: In the post-match interview, Jim Jefferies has revealed that Donovan Simmonds was sick at half-time after a bang on the head, and that Danny Invincibile is feeling groggy after his head knock.
2145: "Kilmarnock's front two closed down the Motherwell defence the whole match."BBC Radio Scotland pundit Jim Duffy
2142: Jim Jefferies and Billy Brown deserve praise, considering the injuries they are coping with and the loss tonight of Invincibile. They stayed positive throughout the match. Just one point out of 18 for Motherwell in the league.
2139: That's a valuable three points for the Ayrshiremen. It's the kind of game Motherwell would have won last season. They're missing Ross McCormack (now at Cardiff City), of course, but Mark McGhee will be trying to get to the bottom of what else is lacking.
2137: FULL-TIME: Motherwell 0-2 Kilmarnock
2139: "Motherwell have changed their formation to 4-2-4 and it's understandable if they're to get anything from this game."BBC Radio Scotland pundit Jim Duffy
2135: "You must be the only person who has ever heard us sing in tune!"sayssayaye onMy Sport. That's an idea for a Saturday night telly programme - 'Terracing Tunefuls' live on BBC One!
2131: Remember this date and time! Jim Jefferies has just smiled from ear to ear! The Killie boss is having a great time. Jefferies has just subbed goalscorer Russell and he gave the striker a big hug as he left the field. Wow.
2129: An anonymous text to80295. "Combe must be a target for other clubs with performances like this. Awesome."
Thanks to everyone who has sent a text or contributed to My Sport. And if you haven't been in touch but you've enjoyed this text commentary, well, that's fine too. I'm glad you joined us. Five minutes to go...
2127: It's just not happening for Chris Porter. He has been getting into good position but he has just headed wide under pressure.
2124: That was a great finish by big Allan Russell. The ball dropped over his shoulder and he showed great technique to keep his shot low and thump it across the goalie.
2123: "Mark McGhee will think his players have simply not done enough to get back into this game."BBC Radio Scotland pundit Murdo MacLeod
2122: GOAL! Motherwell 0-2 Kilmarnock. Allan Russell fires in a terrific right-foot shot past Graeme Smith.
2121: Just 15 minutes to go, brothers and sisters. I went for 2-1 to Well in the Predictor. Not looking good for my points total.
2119: Regarding the player rater comment a few minutes ago, a nice but of humour from sayaye on My Sport. He or she says: "So long as those are paper roses!!!" Join the debate
I remember hearing the Killie fans singing that when I went to a Kilmarnock v Ayr match in the early '90s. It was plain bizarre, but funny and remarkably in tune...if I remember right.
2113: Incredible! Stephen Hughes burst into the Killie box and had a half-hit pot-shot at goal. It fell for Chris Porter, who took a touch before shooting, but Combe was as alert as a hungry kestrel and raced out to block three yards from goal. Combe's playing a blinder! WhiteRoseKillie will be chuffed.
2111: Who gets the raspberries and who gets the roses? Rate the players
2110: "One goal in their last five matches tell you all you need to know about Motherwell's problems in front of goal."BBC Radio Scotland commentator Paul Mitchell
2109: Not too many at Fir Park to see this one. It's Motherwell's lowest crowd of the season, with just 3,339 fans coming through the turnstiles.
2106: "What an outstanding save from Alan Combe. You can see why manager Jim Jefferies is eager to get him tied down to a new contract."BBC Radio Scotland pundit Jim Duffy
2105: Oh, dear. It could be one of those nights for Motherwell. Chris Porter cut in from the right wing and thundered a left-foot shot which Alan Combe tipped on to the bar. Great shot, great save.
2103: A cheeky text to 80295 here from Phil in Dundee: "Why is this game on a Monday evening? Has Setanta billed it as the grudge match between the 2 teams with the worst pitches in Scotland?"
Come on, Phil, Rugby Park is famous for its excellent playing surface...when it isn't covered in ice.
2101: John Sutton is subbed by Mark McGhee. Young Jamie Murphy comes on. "Sutton just looks a player a bit lacking in confidence,"says Jim Duffy on Radio Scotland.
2059: Grant Murray pulls Chris Porter's jersey as the Motherwell striker tried to get on the of a cross. Wee bit lucky to get away with that, Murray.
2057: "The Motherwell players just don't look comfortable. They're playing the wrong passes and putting each other under pressure."BBC Radio Scotland pundit Murdo MacLeod
2056: You can see highlights of this match on the BBC Sport website at midnight. Highlights of the five Clydesdale Bank Premier League matches from the weekend are already on the site. Enjoy (if your team won)!
2053: First bit of action in the second half. John Sutton goes close with a diving header from eight yards out. Just offside, though.
2047: "Would like to see a win for killie because would keep us Bairns in 9th place. Still havn't forgiven you for the 1997 Cup Final tho!"Lanky-ffc on My Sport. Join the debate
2044: "The game's not going to finish 1-0," saysBBC Radio Scotland pundit Murdo MacLeod.
2040: Good news from the Killie changing room. It sounds like Danny Invincibile is OK. It was worrying the way he went down with play at the other end of the park. It's still unclear what happened to him.
2037: Well, well, well. No, not a chant for the boys in Claret and Amber, but my reaction to the news of John Collins becoming manager of Belgian club, Sporting Charleroi, currently 11th in the Jupiler League.
2035: Half-time: Motherwell 0-1 Kilmarnock. Pascali's 35th minute header is the difference. Motherwell have passed the ball better but they fell asleep at the goal.
2033: Stevie Hammell fires in a low left-footed shot from outside the box, but Alan Combe gathers coolly.
2032: You can just picture the scene in the home changing room at half-time, with Mark McGhee passing on his "thoughts" on his team's defending at Killie's goal. Pascali ghosted in front of three Well defenders to glance the header beyond Smith.
2026: OnMy Sport, scotbot asks a question of the Sportsound commentator: "Is Paul Mitchell eastern sage Confucius in disguise? The first goal certainly is important -- as any is -- but not as crucial as the winner or the equaliser." Join the debate
2024: John Sutton wins a corner, though it looks like Mike Tumilty called that one incorrectly. Sutton pounced on a bit of hesitancy in the Kilmarnock defence.
2022: No nonsense from pundit Jim Duffy on Sportsound - "Shocking defending from Motherwell. Mark McGhee will be furious with his defenders there."BBC Radio Scotland pundit Jim Duffy
2021: GOAL! Motherwell 0-1 Kilmarnock. Manuel Pascali heads in from a corner. Too easy for Killie midfielder.
2020: After a lull in the game for treatment to Invincibile, Smith makes a save from a clipped shot from Simmonds.
2017: Danny Invincibile's contribution to the match is complete. He has just been stretchered off. Let's hope he'll be back in action soon. Invincibile's substitution is bad news for Jim Jefferies and Kilmarnock, considering they are already missing David Lilley, Simon Ford and Ryan O'Leary. Ian Flannigan is on for Killie.
2012: Ouch! "Motherwell midfielder Keith Lasley will come back on with some cotton wool up his nostrils after taking the ball full in the face."BBC Radio Scotland's Chick Young trackside at Fir Park
2011: krisbarin06 on My Sport says: "Can see this ending in a draw or Motherwell sneaking it by the odd goal." Join the debate
2009: "Motherwell look the more likely to get goals tonight, but they have overplayed the ball at times tonight." BBC Radio Scotland pundit Jim Duffy
2007: "You get the feeling that the first goal tonight at Fir Park is going to be crucial."BBC Radio Scotland commentator Paul Mitchell
2006: Credit to Manuel Pascali. He was back on his feet in no time at all, despite getting an accidental boot in the face from Chris Porter. Tough as old boots, that Pascali.
2004: The crowd held their breath for a moment as big Bob Malcolm lined up a free kick from out on the left wing. It wasn't one of his pile-drivers, though - maybe too far out for that.
2001: Don't forget you can rate the players in the, er, Player Rater. It's as quick and easy as paying your licence fee by Direct Debit. Rate the players
1957: Help ma boab! Lots happening in the game... Simmonds got up well to meet a Garry Hay cross, but Smith saved comfortably.
1956: Great ball into the box from the right by Steven Saunders. That will do his confidence a power of good.
1955: Porter was almost in again there. "Garry Hay showed great strength there to knock Motherwell striker Chris Porter off his stride and clear the danger."BBC Radio Scotland pundit Murdo MacLeod
1954: Oooooh! Close call for Killie. Excellent ball through to Motherwell's Chris Porter by John Sutton. Porter shot just over the bar.
1952: "Kilmarnock manager Jim Jefferies will be happy with the bright start his side has made."BBC Radio Scotland pundit Jim Duffy
1950: First attack of the match comes from the visitors, with Donovan Simmonds firing in a low shot. Graeme Smith had to be lively to make the low save there.
1948: Great to see the playing surface at Fir Park looking so good. Anyone remember the muddy pitch last year when Gretna were ground-sharing with Well? It looked like the Western Front!
1945: Young Saunders looks the part. He's obviously feeling the winter chill - he's sporting a claret polo neck under his Motherwell shirt. It's not as horrendous as it sounds.
1943: Well, the Sportsound team have gone for a 2-1 home win in the Predictor. Hope you have made your predictions.
1939: Not the most sporting of comments on My Sport from WhiteRoseKillie. "Hope life gets worse for 'Well, but I can see a repeat of last year's tightrope for Killie on the Horizon." Join the debate
1937: Steven Saunders is making his first start for Well, so a big night for the 17-year-old defender.
1935: After Motherwell's poor start to the season, it's pretty remarkable that they could move up to seventh in the table with a win tonight.
1920: TEAM NEWS:
Motherwell: Graeme Smith, Saunders, Klimpl, Reynolds, Hammell, Lasley, Malcolm, McGarry, Hughes, Porter, Sutton. Subs: Nielsen, Darren Smith, Murphy, Fitzpatrick, O'Brien, McHugh, Hutchinson.
Kilmarnock: Combe, Fowler, Murray, Wright, Hay, Invincibile, Pascali, Hamill, Skelton, Simmonds, Russell. Subs: Rascle, Locke, Corrigan, Clancy, Flannigan, Sammon, Nolan.
