Strachan relaxed over SPL climax
Celtic manager Gordon Strachan has played down his side's tag as SPL favourites and reiterated he has no sympathy for Rangers' fixture overload.
"All we can do is keep playing, and if we get to the last game and have a chance we've done very well," he said.
"I've not really any sympathy for Rangers, because I've been in a similar situation with Aberdeen when we got to
the Cup-Winners' Cup final.
"When Celtic got to Seville five years ago I don't think they got any help."
Strachan is eager to progress with Celtic and believes they are capable of making it into the Champions League quarter-finals.
"This season has been a rollercoaster. Every day is exciting as a Celtic manager, don't worry about that," he said.
MY SPORT: DEBATE
Do you share Gordon Strachan's view on Rangers' fixture pile-up?
"I believe Celtic can get to the last eight. It's been unfortunate that in the last 16 the teams we've got have been AC Milan and Barcelona."
