Old Firm first for BBC

Celtic v Rangers, 6 October, Celtic Park, kick off 14.30 BST - live coverage on BBC One from 1400 BST.

Glasgow's Old Firm derby will be broadcast live across the UK on Sunday afternoon by BBC television.

Rangers visit Celtic Park with a one point lead over their old rivals in the Scottish Premier League.

Champions Celtic had the best of the league encounters last season with two wins and two games drawn.

However, Rangers beat Martin O'Neill's men in both cup finals last term.

Viewers in Scotland will hear commentary from Rob MacLean and Sandy Clark.

Dougie Donnelly will host the Scottish show with Craig Burley, Walter Smith and Gordon Smith as studio guests.

For the rest of the UK, Gary Lineker will present the show with Alan Hansen and Mark Lawrenson in the studio. Steve Wilson will provide commentary along with Pat Nevin.
