Stirling Albion 2-1 Raith Rovers

Division Two leaders Raith Rovers were defeated at Forthbank by a much-improved Stirling Albion.

Rovers' Gary Wales forced an early save out of Albion goalkeeper Scott Christie, but Stirling's John O'Neill cracked home a 30-yard half-volley.

Albion's David McKenna pounced on a rebound from O'Neill's shot after 50 minutes to make it 2-0.

Rovers' Robert Sloan grabbed a lifeline 11 minutes later, scoring directly from a corner, but Stirling took the points.

Stirling: Christie, Graham, Forsyth, Roycroft, Gibb, O'Neil, Hamilton (McCord 75), Murphy, Grehan, McKenna (Boyle 86), Devine.
