Arbroath 1-0 Stranraer
Bryan Scott was the hero for Arbroath as they leapfrogged Stranraer at the bottom of the Second Division with a controversial victory.
The home side took the lead in the 20th minute when Scott clipped the ball past the on-rushing Scott Black.
Stranraer were awarded a penalty after Gregory Tade and Jamie Smith tangled, but the decision was changed after a discussion between officials.
The visitors also claimed for a penalty when Tade was felled by the goalkeeper.
Arbroath: Hill, Rennie, Forsyth, Rattray (McMullan 14), Bishop, Alan Campbell, Dorris, Lunan, Scott (Tosh 85), Sellars, Gates (Reilly 77).
Subs Not Used: Black, Morrison.
