Dunfermline Athletic 0-1 Dundee
A Mickael Antoine-Curier strike was enough to secure victory for Dundee and a first win for new manager Jocky Scott in his third stint at the club.
The Pars had the better of the opening stages with Stephen Glass and Calum Woods being denied by the woodwork.
Dunfermline striker Andy Kirk shot just wide and was later denied by a fine save from Rab Douglas.
Dundee took the lead against the run of play as Brian Deasley slid in a pass for Antoine-Curier to slot home.
