Ayr United 2-0 Peterhead

Goals from Ryan Stevenson and substitute Alex Williams helped Ayr United get the better of promotion rivals Peterhead.

The home side went ahead on the stroke of half time when Stevenson was brought down by David Donald.

The striker picked himself up and coolly converted the spot-kick to secure a narrow lead at the break.

Ayr went all out for the killer second goal after the restart and it arrived when Williams bundled home late on.
