Queen's Park lose out in Fifa bid
Queen's Park have been unsuccessful in their bid to be awarded the Fifa Order of Merit.
The club were forwarded "in recognition of their outstanding role in the development of the modern game and for 140 years of service to football".
Queen's application had been backed by Prime Minister Gordon Brown, First Minister Alex Salmond and Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
However, despite that support, Fifa will not honour the Hampden Park side.
