East Stirlingshire missed out on an rare win after being held on a frustrating afternoon at Firs Park.

The home team missed a number of late chances, with Marc McKenzie guilty of spurning several opportunities.

He shot wide from the edge of the box after 88 minutes and deep into injury time failed to find the target when clean through on goal.

Elgin's best chance also came late when Darren Shalicker's close range shot was saved by Gary O'Connor.
